Dear Friend,

If you are walking through grief today, my heart is with you. Losing someone you love is one of the deepest pains a person can experience. It can feel like the world has stopped, like a part of you is missing, and like life will never feel the same again.

God sees every tear you cry. He knows the ache that sits in your chest, the memories that both comfort and hurt, and the moments when the silence feels unbearable. He is close to the brokenhearted, and He promises to hold you through every wave of sorrow.

Grief tells you that you’ll never feel whole again, but God tells you He will restore your soul. Grief tells you that you’re alone, but God tells you He will never leave you.

You don’t have to rush your healing. You don’t have to pretend you’re okay. God understands your pain, and He walks with you one moment at a time.

Your grief is real. Your love was real. And God’s comfort is real.

“The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart.” — Psalm 34:18 (KJV)

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, or if you’re unsure, you can come to Him right now. He loves you, He sees you, and He is ready to receive you. You can pray something like this:

“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I need You. I believe You died for me and rose again. I ask You to forgive me, save me, and come into my heart. I place my trust in You alone. Thank You for loving me. Amen.”

If you prayed that sincerely, God heard you — and He welcomes you as His child.
